These slats are made to provide needed airflow underneath your plastic (PVC) air mattress. Direct contact with floor can restrict air on the bottom side allowing for mold, smell and the “sweating” that can occur where air cannot circulate. We use only premium SMOOTH boards so it’s careful not to splinter and webbing holds the boards apart and staples are embedded so as not to affect the air mattress.
The boards are approximately 5″ apart for maximum air channels from one side to the other.
Just measure the width of your air mattress and order that. If you don’t see the size you need for your bed, please contact us and we will be happy to see if we can meet your specific request. Custom made in the U.S.A.! Approximately 79” Long. If it comes a bit too long you can “scoot” it in a bit.

Yes, we fabricate every slat system for our customer from scratch — and there’s a reason we do this. We found that the bed slats available in the commercial market often fall short, both in terms of proper sizing and overall quality. We believe we’ve solved both problems.
Standard aftermarket slats have frustrated many people who don’t want to give up their bed frame just to accommodate a “standard” size.       Our solution is custom manufacturing, offering both basic and premium slat units built to fit your frame. The money you spend does not reflect that these are handmade only, but it reflects the premium materials used, even down to the staples, and the craftsmanship applied making them.
To solve the quality issue of twisted, rough, poorly assembled slat sets, we don’t buy our lumber from the big box outlets because they don’t have the premium quality lumber available at any that we have found. Our lumber is #2 premium grade pine that is free from chemicals completely, (none from beginning to end and non-toxic for babies and pets), and come with a smooth finish because mattresses are an investment.
We fabricate each slat set as your order comes in and is made to fit your criteria. This is the way it should be and we have experienced very little issues over the years. What can we build for you?
